Oak framed, Station style barometer by Hudson of Greenwich, circa 1880

Hudson of Greenwich were suppliers to the Admiralty and also to Greenwich Hospital and the Royal Observatory. The barometer tube being the orginal large bore type also has the constriction within tube which prevents violent oscillations of the mercury column. Priced at £1950
